Paws on the Green NJ Paws on the Green Animal Rescue Edgewater, NJ rescues animals on death row in local and rural shelters in the South including Halifax County Animal Center, NC. We are a New Jersey non-profit animal welfare organization that promotes the adoption of homeless animals regardless of age, breed or health condition. Our rescued animals are placed in foster homes in the New York and Northern New Jersey areas. We try and make the process as smooth as possible when you adopt with us, because we have dedicated volunteers and foster parents who will go over any questions or concerns you and your family might have on introducing the newest member to your family. Adoptable Companion Animals of NC is a foster based non-profit dog/pup rescue. We pull from five county high kill shelters. Our dogs/pups are either in foster homes or boarded at our vets office. All of our dogs/pups are vaccinated, bordetella, dewormed, flea/tick and heartworm treated, spay/neutered and tested for heartworm if over 9 months.

Sean Casey Animal Rescue NY Sean Casey Animal Rescue Brooklyn, NY rescue dogs from Halifax County Animal Center, NC. Over the years SCAR has saved thousands of animals (Over 8000 animals pulled from animal care and control alone since 1998). The organization always has many dogs and cats available for adoption in addition to various sorts of reptiles, birds, and small furry animals. Just about any creature in New York City who needs a home has passed through the shelter’s doors, including 100-pound land tortoises, tarantulas, boa constrictors, a donkey, a pot belly pig, a goat and various other farm animals that somehow end up living in the five boroughs of New York City.

South of the Bully Rescue rescues dogs from Halifax County Animal Control. South of the Bully Rescue is a 100% volunteer run, foster-based organization that facilitates the rescue and placement of homeless dogs identified as pit bulls. Through public donations, South of the Bully Rescue will provide all necessary veterinary care, including spay or neuter and any basic needs.

All RHR foster dogs live in foster homes, indoors, as part of the family. Each dog is spayed, neutered, up to date on shots, dewormed, and microchipped. At this time, due to the size of our rescue, adoptions are limited to NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, and VIRGINIA.

New Home/Rescue Needed for Dogs in Raleigh, NC

The animal shelter is located off Corporation Parkway in Raleigh, at the corner of Commerce Drive and Beacon Lake Road. Take the 64 East New Bern Avenue/Rocky Mount Exit. Take a right at the second stop light and follow the brown Wake County Animal Control signs.

The shelter adoption/reclamation hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 11:00am to 4:00 pm; Tuesday and Thursday 11:00am to 7:00 pm; and Sunday 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
